Have just watched a really interesting documentary on the idea of 'infinty' - Horizon BBC1,

Great if you have a head for maths (which I don't!) but all the same, it makes you think...
Also, has anyone read the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy... very similar theories discusssed in that, but obviously on a much more lighthearted level... (the book's much better than the film)
The idea that we are so small and insignificant in an infinite universe, is sometimes what we need to remind ourselves to keep things in proportion.
